My accent is often referred to Standard Southern British (SSB) English. It’s mostly spoken in the south-east of England. SSB is the probably the most recognised English accent in the UK, and perhaps even outside the UK.If you live in the UK or are planning to move to the UK, and want to understand and be understood by everyone, then SSB is the pronunciation you want to learn. Hey, my name is Sandro. I’m an English teacher and content creator.
I’ve been teaching for over 12 years and have helped thousands of students to speak English with confidence, clarity and ease.
You may know me from my social media channel English with Sandro. If you’ve watched any of my videos, you know I like to keep everything clear, short and effective. And, when possible, funny too 😀
My pronunciation course is like that too! After all, it’s still me teaching you. Trust me, I know the challenges and thoughts you might have when you need to speak English out loud. I’ve seen it in so many students and I’ve felt it as a language learner myself.
My goal has been and still is this: to teach you to sound more clear and fluent in English.
I’ll teach you all the tips and tricks that you need to improve your English pronunciation, but I also know learning and speaking a language is about confidence. This is why I spend a lot of time building your confidence so that you can progress in English on your own.

Frequently asked questions
The course is for anyone who wants to improve their English pronunciation. Improving your pronunciation takes work, so you need to have time and dedication to practise.
The course will open for enrolment three times a year.
The next course enrolment will be on 9 September 2024.
You need at least an B1 level of English to follow the course successfully. The course is also perfect for people with C1 or C2 understanding of English grammar and vocab but normal pronunciation skills.
The course is divided into nine modules and overall there are 50+ pre-recorded video lessons plus 8 live masterclasses and several live Q&As. Overall 30+ hrs of video content.
Recommendation to complete the course: with 10-15 mins a day you should be able to complete it in about 10-12 weeks.
Yes! Pronunciation is an essential component to sounding fluent in any language. It’s especially important to build your speaking confidence, which consequently will help with your fluency.
My teaching style is always the same. It’s engaging and fun. However, the course lessons are definitely more in-depth and there is more attention on practice. The course lessons are also a little longer, around 10-15 mins each.
50% of the course curriculum is pre-recorded so you can follow at your own pace.
There are 8 live masterclasses and monthly group Q&As you can attend when you enrol in the Live Plan. You will also be able to watch the video recordings of these masterclasses and Q&As if you can’t attend live.
